Throughout a stay, guests can open the refrigerator to grab a Chobani vanilla Greek yogurt, bottle of sparkling water or pour a glass of chocolate oat milk. The whimsical pineapple theme dining area is next to the open kitchen. Nearby is a grand piano for guests to play for others, and colorful books are displayed on shelves and tables for guests to read. Guests will instantly feel at ease while checking-in at the whimsical lobby, as they are offered a Modelo beer or glass of wine with their room assignment. The soothing design interior rooms, and plenty of inviting outdoor space allowing guests to relax, unwind and soak up the Palm Springs sunshine. Together they deliver a cheerful adult-only boutique hotel with hip design elements, in a private, quiet and comfortable setting. Walking into the newly renovated boutique hotel, Les Cactus, I noticed a framed “Les Cactus” record album of the 1960’s French rock ‘n roll artist Jacques Dutronc behind the reception table.Ĭentrally located in the welcoming Warm Sands neighborhood, the historic 1930’s property has been refreshed by LA-based hotelier Matthew Kurtz in partnership with local hoteliers Richard Crisman and Jeff Brock. ![]()
